Theatre Tulsa presents Annie Jr. at Booker T. Washington High School from July 18 through 20. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on Saturday at 2 p.m. and Sunday at 4 p.m. There will be a sensory-friendly performance on Sunday, July 20 at 1 p.m.
This Theatre Tulsa Academy production features nearly 60 youth performers ages 5 to 12.
Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, with a beloved book and score by Tony Award winners, Thomas Meehan, Charles Strouse and Martin Charnin, Annie JR.features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start in 1930s New York City. Annie is determined to find the parents who abandoned her years ago on the doorstep of an orphanage run by the cruel Miss Hannigan. Annie eventually foils Miss Hannigan's evil machinations, finding a new home and family in billionaire Oliver Warbucks, his personal secretary, Grace Farrell, and a lovable mutt named Sandy.

Theatre Tulsa presents Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition at Booker T. Washington High School from July 25 through 27. Performances are Friday and Saturday at 7:30 p.m. with matinees on Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.
This Theatre Tulsa Academy production features nearly 50 youth performers ages 13 to 18.
Heathers The Musical: Teen Edition is the darkly delicious story of Veronica Sawyer, a brainy, beautiful teenage misfit who hustles her way into the most powerful and ruthless clique at Westerberg High: the Heathers. But before she can get comfortable atop the high school food chain, Veronica falls in love with the dangerously handsome new kid J.D. When Heather Chandler, the Almighty, kicks her out of the group, Veronica decides to bite the bullet and kiss Heather’s aerobicized butt... but J.D. has another plan for that bullet.
