The Mother of All Musicals!
Gypsy is the ultimate tale of an ambitious stage mother fighting for her daughters’ success – while secretly yearning for her own. Lizzie
April 10 - 12, 2026
The riot-grrrl rock musical that brings feminist rage screaming into the spotlight.
Experience the electrifying rock musical LIZZIE, inspired by the infamous story of Lizzie Borden. Fueled by a blistering all-female rock score and performed with a live band, this high-octane production fuses 19th-century scandal with 21st-century punk fury in a theatrical event that is raw, rebellious, and unapologetically loud.
When repression, betrayal, and suffocating expectations collide, four women take the stage to reclaim the narrative. Part historical fever dream, part rock concert, LIZZIE is a pulse-pounding exploration of rage, freedom, and the cost of survival.
This production is presented as part of the Collaboration Series with Theatre Tulsa, celebrating bold, innovative storytelling and local artistic partnerships.

“Caption: My dad and I both grew up in the same, small Pennsylvania town. And he was gay, and I was gay. And he killed himself. And I became a lesbian cartoonist.”
Reflecting on the suicide of her father, graphic novelist Alison dives deep into her past to tell the story of the volatile, brilliant, one-of-a-kind man whose temperament and secrets defined her family and her life. Moving between past and present, Alison relives her unique childhood playing at the family’s Bechdel Funeral Home, her growing understanding of her own sexuality, and the looming, unanswerable questions about her father’s hidden desires. Fun Home is a refreshingly honest, wholly original musical about seeing your parents through grown-up eyes.
This one-act, non-linear musical is an adaptation of the autobiographical graphic novel by Alison Bechdel. It deals with the queer experience in the 1970s, self-discovery, and generational trauma.
Content Warnings:
This show has coarse language, homophobic language, verbal abuse, discussion and depiction of suicide, depictions of and allusions to cannabis use, grooming, consensual and non-consensual staged intimacy.
