***Auditions for our spring plays, August: Osage County, & Our Town, will take place on Monday, September 23rd at Fly Loft Tulsa***
Vocal Audition – Please prepare two 32-bar cuts of a song of the musical theatre genre. Due to time constraints, we will most likely only have time for one of your selections, so please sing your strongest piece first. Please arrive with sheet music clearly marked and cut appropriately. No a cappella singing or music tracks will be allowed; an accompanist will be provided.
Dance Audition – Auditioners from all three slots will be asked to stay until the end of their slot to participate in the dance audition. Please have appropriate footwear and dance attire for the dance portion of the audition day.
Youth Audition Requirements (8-14 years old)
We are casting youth performers in all three of our spring musicals. Both The Music Man and Matilda will have a youth ensemble of about 10 children ages 8-14, in addition to featured and lead roles. A Little Night Music will be casting one female performer, age 10-14, for the featured role of Fredrika.
Students are asked to prepare a short song, preferably from a musical. Bringing sheet music, with 32-bar cuts clearly marked, is strongly encouraged. Students will be automatically considered for all three productions.
Students aged 15 and up are encouraged to sign up and audition in the afternoon blocks.
Please bring a headshot (or recent photo) and theatrical resume. Below is the official audition form for these productions. To expedite the sign-in process, please feel free to print out and complete your audition form ahead of time. Production teams for each show are listed on the audition form.
Video submissions will be accepted. Please fill out the attached audition form, and send a Vimeo or YouTube link to your video of your two 32-bar selections to email@example.com. In the subject line of the email please include “[your name] – Video Submission”.
